Project Goal:
Synthesis of gram quantity of two complex chiral molecules.
Details:
A 22-step synthetic process was developed to synthesize the first chiral molecule carrying six stereogenic centers. This compound was then converted to the second molecule via a three-step sequence.
The synthesis was fully optimized and scaled up to prepare 30 g of the first molecule with a purity of >99.9% via two Proof-Of-Concept (POC) batches. This compound was then converted to approximately 10 g of the second molecule with a purity of >99.7%.
